betashop:
More than 40% of Fab’s daily visits now come from our mobile apps on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Since the beginning of 2012 we noticed that “has mobile app” is a big indicator of customer engagement. We saw that Fab’s mobile users purchased more then 2x faster, 3x more often, and in much…

Love, love, love where I work!
betashop:
Exactly 1 year ago Bradford and I went to our Board of Directors and requested approval for us to shut down our 150,000-member social network, scrap everything, and restart from scratch on an entirely new business.
1 year later it looks like we may have made the right choice.

Yup, this is me…
fab:
1. Who are you? I’m HRLori. I come to the rescue of any and all who are in need of anything within my reach.
2. What inspires you? Music—the sound of an acoustic guitar or a single violin or a heartbreaking lyric—as well as the color purple and a hug from a good friend.

We believe that we’re building something much more culturally important than a store. Sure, our store is cool, but we aspire to develop deep emotional relationships with our…

TSA Update
When I wrote the preceding post, I had no idea how far it would reach. I’m glad that it’s out there now, particularly since the TSA responded publicly with an apology and a promise to retrain staff in handling sensitive situations.
We do our best to treat passengers with the dignity and respect they deserve, but in Lori Dorn’s case, it looks like we missed our mark. We sincerely...

If you’re offended by harsh language, read this anyways. If you need harsh language to pay attention to something, read this anyways.

Nice town, I did love living here. I love the weather here. So many people complain about their summers, but I love them. Though I do have to say, after three weeks in the deep south, I got used to the hot and the sticky. Of course, it was september, so it wasn’t the prime hot…
