In her talk at the D-Conference today Mary Meeker presented some data showing that mobile now accounts for 8% of e-commerce revenue.

That led us to dig in and look at how mobile revenue is developing at Fab.

In short, it’s growing. Big.

Fab mobile revenue now amounts to 23 to 25% of weekly sales - just 30 weeks since we launched our mobile apps.

iOS continues to dominate.

  • 95% of Fab’s mobile apps revenue comes from iPhone and iPad.
  • iPhone = 55% of weekly sales

It doesn’t get much more Rock ‘n’ Roll than the Teardrop Earrings from eye on the sparrow. Handmade from recycled guitar strings, this lightweight pair features gold tone accents that bring a morsel of a musician’s mojo close to your ears. 1. Who are you? I’m HRLori. I come to the rescue of any and all who are in need of anything within my reach.

2. What inspires you? Music—the sound of an acoustic guitar or a single violin or a heartbreaking lyric—as well as the color purple and a hug from a good friend.

It’s been a long journey.   Only 5 more rounds of Herceptin and 5 more years of Femara, but I’m okay.

This incredible woman says it all for me and probably for other breast cancer survivors as well.

Just one thing to add, Cancer is not a pretty pink ribbon wrapped in a bow. It is messy and scary and bald and burnt.  And the beauty of this and every other woman battling cancer far outweighs that meaningless symbol.
